Muji Novrita Surahmi
Indonesia Country Manager
Muji is based in Jakarta and provides government relations and public affairs services for GTH’s clients in Indonesia.
As part of the firm’s International Public Affairs team specializing in forensic DNA policy, she has been actively engaging multiple stakeholder groups across Indonesia on policies and regulation to establish and expand the use of DNA technologies.
Prior to joining the firm, Muji has had a long career with law enforcement and international government agencies. She previously worked 14 years as the head of the Jakarta Office Secretariat at the Jakarta Centre for Law Enforcement Cooperation (JCLEC), which is a joint initiative between the Indonesian National Police and the Australian Federal Police.
She has also worked at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) as a Border Management Consultant and served as a freelance consultant and researcher for several government agencies and private corporations on areas related to security, law, infrastructure, and governance.
Muji holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Gunadarma University in Jakarta and a master’s degree in Terrorism Studies from the University of Indonesia. She is a certified diver and enjoys traveling, looking for unique diving spots.
